We have a range of counselling services for individuals and couples and also provide supervision for health practitioners. We have been operating for 26 years.

Be kind to yourself

Talking in confidence to a counsellor or psychologist, who listens non-judgmentally and with positive care and regard, can greatly help in keeping a balanced state of mind, reducing stress and allowing you to tackle the many complexities of life.

We can provide ....

Mental health counselling services (sometimes called 'psychotherapy') for individual adults. Counselling for people suffering from anxiety and depression, as well as for those working through trauma, loss and grief, identity issues, life transitions, or a variety of other problems.

  • Counselling for people adjusting to, or coming to terms with, physical or sensory disabilities.
  • Counselling for family members of people with disabilities.
  • Relationship counselling services.

Counselling provides a safe place to talk about your problems and express your thoughts and feelings. Short and long term counselling is available.

Our Practitioners ....

Our practitioners variously belong to the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP), the NZ Association of Psychotherapists (NZAP) and / or Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association (AANZPA). We abide by their Codes of Ethics and are accountable to them. To ensure a high quality of service we regularly review our work through supervision and professional development.
